The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 11 minutes into the match, The Curruncus Band's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Aballe came free, but Sergio Hunfredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Basavilbaso AFC's Ramiro Aballe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sergio Hunfredo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sergio Hunfredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorio Gaufred in the 18th minute of play. Pastor Lluciano made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Clemente Balasi sent off a good shot on target. If Clemente Balasi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pastor Lluciano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Heriberto in the 26th minute of play. When Eustacio Lehen fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Basavilbaso AFC's protests and gave Eustacio Lehen a yellow card for diving instead. After 29 played minutes Basavilbaso AFC got a freekick which was hit by Eustacio Lehen. After 30 played minutes, The Curruncus Band's Aaron Atarratze shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pastor Lluciano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in The Curruncus Band reached it. Sergio Hunfredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorio Gaufred, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Basavilbaso AFC's Lisandro Guillerme pulled a muscle in his back after 34 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Adolfo Lon fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Curruncus Band's protests and gave Adolfo Lon a yellow card for diving instead. Isidoro Heriberto struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Pastor Lluciano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Curruncus Band. Clemente Balasi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Pastor Lluciano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Isidoro Heriberto managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Curruncus Band's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidoro Heriberto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pastor Lluciano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ramiro Aballe was the one to do the kick off. Sergio Hunfredo made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Ramiro Aballe sent off a good shot on target. Isidoro Heriberto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isidoro Heriberto kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the game, Adolfo Guzman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Basavilbaso AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Curruncus Band the free kick. The supporters of The Curruncus Band booed when Basavilbaso AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Guzman didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was beautiful to see The Curruncus Band's Denis Cordeiro in action when he in the 64th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Millano in the 68th minute of play forced The Curruncus Band's goalkeeper Sergio Hunfredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Basavilbaso AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Heriberto came free, but Pastor Lluciano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramiro Aballe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Sergio Hunfredo made a huge save. Ramiro Aballe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Sergio Hunfredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the game, Basavilbaso AFC's Ramiro Aballe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sergio Hunfredo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Clemente Balasi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
