Teobaldo Domenec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Figueroa in the 3rd minute of the match. 5 minutes into the game, Ruben Quinto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Teobaldo Domenec was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Halcones de Tegucigalpa's zone, Ruben Quinto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teobaldo Domenec came out of the goal and Ruben Quinto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edgard Figueroa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Teobaldo Domenec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Halcones de Tegucigalpa's goalkeeper Teobaldo Domenec, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 17th minute Edgard Figueroa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teobaldo Domenec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Minacar's Tadeo Irrintzi got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edgard Figueroa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 22 played minutes Halcones de Tegucigalpa got a freekick which was hit by Ceferino Francis. In the 24th minute Ruben Quinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teobaldo Domenec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Lehoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edgard Figueroa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th match minute, Halcones de Tegucigalpa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ceferino Francis to maneuver through the defense. When Edgard Figueroa came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Minacar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgard Figueroa couldn't finish the play. Teobaldo Domenec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Dolcet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tadeo Irrintzi in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teobaldo Domenec prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Quinto in the 46th minute of play forced Halcones de Tegucigalpa's goalkeeper Teobaldo Domenec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.
Edgard Figueroa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 54 minutes into the game, Ruben Quinto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Teobaldo Domenec was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ruben Quinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ruben Quinto in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teobaldo Domenec saved Halcones de Tegucigalpa from getting behind. Edgard Figueroa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teobaldo Domenec having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Edgard Figueroa fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Teobaldo Domenec, passed just outside the right post. After a rather tough play, Halcones de Tegucigalpa's Placido Guerau got a free kick in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvestre Fortun in the 71st minute of play forced Halcones de Tegucigalpa's goalkeeper Teobaldo Domenec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute Silverio Abechuco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeo Isauro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the game, Tadeo Irrintzi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Teobaldo Domenec was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Ruben Quinto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Teobaldo Domenec. That made the score 0-8 in the 87 minute of play. Ruben Quinto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teobaldo Domenec having to make a save. If Alvaro Dolcet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alonzo Leoiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Teobaldo Domenec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
