Martínez's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Cefero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Teobaldo Urtsin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Severiano Maurin went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After having played for 20 minutes, Teodoro Raulo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Rusticos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodoro Raulo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Severiano Maurin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariano Cefero struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Teobaldo Urtsin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Rusticos. After 34 played minutes Los Rusticos got a freekick which was hit by Genaro Sasoin. In the 36th match minute, Los Rusticos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Raulo to maneuver through the defense. Fernando Lizar was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 37th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Benjamin Dayam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariano Cefero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Teobaldo Urtsin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Raul Paio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Dayam in the 53rd minute of play. Martínez's Teobaldo Urtsin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severiano Maurin in the 56th minute of play. Teobaldo Urtsin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severiano Maurin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the game, Cecilio Aresti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Rusticos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Martínez the free kick. Cecilio Aresti kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Los Rusticos's Juan Lixandro shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 83rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Teobaldo Urtsin but with some difficulty. Mariano Cefero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teobaldo Urtsin having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Severiano Maurin in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teobaldo Urtsin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alfonso Perpinya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Paio having to interfere.
