Halcones de Tegucigalpa's Teobaldo Domenec proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Halcones de Tegucigalpa from getting a goal against them. 39 minutes into the match, Halcones de Tegucigalpa's goalkeeper Teobaldo Domenec had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cipriano Ruy. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriel Lehoi in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francisco Barto saved Tala from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isidro Leheren got free with Teobaldo Domenec in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Danilo Gonsalvo to make the kick off. After 53 minutes Tala's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Claudio Lehoi who took care of the corner kick. Danilo Gonsalvo was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Gabriel Lehoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Danilo Gonsalvo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Francisco Barto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 66 played minutes Halcones de Tegucigalpa got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Gonsalvo. Danilo Gonsalvo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tala's Francisco Barto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Gonsalvo in the 71st minute of play. After having played for 72 minutes, Cipriano Ruy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tala's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cipriano Ruy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Danilo Gonsalvo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cipriano Ruy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Teobaldo Domenec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teobaldo Domenec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidro Leheren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After recieving a nice pass, Halcones de Tegucigalpa's Claudio Lehoi tried to score from far away in the 90th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 92nd play minute Gabriel Lehoi came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Francisco Barto. 0-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Halcones de Tegucigalpa had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
