Everardo Velasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victor Leobardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Teobaldo Domenec made a huge save. Santos Jon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silverio Abechuco in the 33rd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, La Romaneta's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Gonsalvo came free, but Santos Jon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. La Romaneta's Victor Leobardo got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Silverio Abechuco struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Santos Jon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Halcones de Tegucigalpa. After 95 played minutes La Romaneta got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Baldovino. La Romaneta walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
