But to his dismay, Mariano Cefero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. With a little luck, Los Rusticos's Raul Paio got control of the ball when Jeronimo Poncio tried to sneak it across the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Javier Totakoxe recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Raul Paio. Javier Totakoxe showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Severiano Maurin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Los Rusticos's Raul Paio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Pueblo in the 52nd minute of play. The supporters of Balada Triste booed when Los Rusticos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodoro Raulo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teobaldo Pueblo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Raul Paio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeronimo Poncio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeronimo Poncio in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raul Paio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 66 minutes into the game, Mariano Cefero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Jimeno Paul was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Cefero got free with Jimeno Paul in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 75th minute, Jeronimo Poncio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raul Paio was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cecilio Aresti during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 79th minute of the game. One of Los Rusticos:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Balada Triste:s goal. Teobaldo Pueblo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raul Paio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teobaldo Pueblo went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-3 was the resulting score. Teobaldo Pueblo fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 89th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. Los Rusticos's Raul Paio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Pueblo in the 94th minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, Balada Triste's Jeronimo Poncio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raul Paio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-3. Balada Triste's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
