Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Balada Triste's Jeronimo Poncio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Leon Harri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimeno Paul having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Tala's goal looked a bit too open when Teobaldo Pueblo came free, but Francisco Barto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tala's Francisco Barto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeronimo Poncio in the 12th minute of play. Jimeno Paul was a little too slow when Leon Harri got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 1-1. After a rather tough play, Balada Triste's Alvaro Aballe got a free kick in the 18th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Balada Triste's zone, Isidro Leheren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jimeno Paul came out of the goal and Isidro Leheren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 22nd match minute, Balada Triste was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvaro Aballe to maneuver through the defense. If Jeronimo Poncio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 27th minute Alvaro Aballe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Barto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tala's Leon Harri got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeronimo Poncio in the 31st minute of play forced Tala's goalkeeper Francisco Barto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Balada Triste's zone, Leon Harri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jimeno Paul came out of the goal and Leon Harri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 42 minutes, Jeronimo Poncio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balada Triste's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeronimo Poncio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeronimo Poncio in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francisco Barto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Jeronimo Poncio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Francisco Barto was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. If Leon Harri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cipriano Ruy was the one to do the kick off. Emiliano Porfirio charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emiliano Porfirio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jeronimo Poncio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Balada Triste defense, Isidro Leheren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jimeno Paul. The Balada Triste fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jimeno Paul should have stopped the shot. In the 60th match minute, Balada Triste was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvaro Aballe to maneuver through the defense. Jimeno Paul came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Tala's Isidro Leheren. But to his dismay, Isidro Leheren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Isidro Leheren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jimeno Paul having to make a save. When Leon Harri came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Tala fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leon Harri couldn't finish the play. Francisco Barto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teobaldo Pueblo in the 96th minute. Tala's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
