Mariano Nalo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tobias Ibon. Campana's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gregorio Argider in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bernardo Chuse, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Rigoberto Merexildo, 41 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Tobias Ibon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eriberto Benitez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Ibon having to interfere. Felipe Hermon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Campana booed when Club Atlético River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorio Tulio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardo Chuse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregorio Argider in the 84th minute of the match. Campana's Gregorio Argider got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bernardo Chuse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Hermon, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Club Atlético River Plate's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
