The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nestor Theodore showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Justino Joey charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Justino Joey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Justino Joey kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Mariño's Octavio Haritzeder couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Saladillo FC. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. The Saladillo FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Saladillo FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
