Felipe Hermon might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nestor Theodore. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipe Hermon ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 13th of the match, Felipe Hermon tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Nestor Theodore got in the way and made a wonderful save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felipe Hermon in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nestor Theodore prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gregorio Argider was extremely unlucky when he, in the 16th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Nestor Theodore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Hermon in the 21st minute of the match. Saladillo FC's Nestor Theodore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Hermon in the 27th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Campana's zone, Jaime Argoitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobias Ibon came out of the goal and Jaime Argoitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 33 minutes, Jaime Argoitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saladillo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Argoitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Victor Lonzo's late challenge caught a Saladillo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victor Lonzo helped the player get up and apologised. Victor Lonzo hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After having played for 42 minutes, Ariel Frances managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Campana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ariel Frances was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Justino Joey charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Justino Joey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Justino Joey kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Nestor Theodore made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gregorio Argider in the 45th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Felipe Hermon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Campana's supporters rose to their feet, but Felipe Hermon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nestor Theodore breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jaime Argoitz to make the kick off. Nestor Theodore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Hermon in the 57th minute of play. Gregorio Argider fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Theodore having to interfere. After some careless play in the Saladillo FC defense, Gregorio Argider kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nestor Theodore. The Saladillo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nestor Theodore should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Gregorio Argider's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nestor Theodore was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. In the 89th minute, Gregorio Argider got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jaime Argoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Tobias Ibon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tobias Ibon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Argoitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. After having played for 97 minutes, Jaime Argoitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saladillo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Argoitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Saladillo FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
