Javier Thomas charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelino Bilbo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcelino Bilbo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Candido Hustaz in the 35th minute of play. Lucas Cristofor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Zeledon Sansone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Javier Thomas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Zeledon Sansone made a huge save. Marcelino Bilbo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquin Senon, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Natalio Roldanillo to make the kick off. Los Piratas De Cordoba were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Cuchilla AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bonifacio Domeka took the corner. Marcelino Bilbo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Candido Hustaz in the 56th minute. Lucas Cristofor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Candido Hustazs short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Marcelino Bilbo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 64th match minute, Cuchilla AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalmacio Beliran to maneuver through the defense. Bonifacio Domeka blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcelino Bilbo having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Los Piratas De Cordoba's Bonifacio Domeka got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Lucas Cristofor managed to get in a good position for a shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Los Piratas De Cordoba's Natalio Roldanillo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcelino Bilbo. That made the score 1-2 after 94 minutes of play.
