Cirilo Urdin might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernando Sendoa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cirilo Urdin ran back to his position shaking his head. When Carolo Ixona fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saladillo FC's protests and gave Carolo Ixona a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Saladillo FC's Carolo Ixona got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 15th minute, Saladillo FC's Jaime Argoitz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 20 minutes into the match, Victoria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Argoitz came free, but Fernando Sendoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gregorio Peli's late challenge caught a Saladillo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gregorio Peli helped the player get up and apologised. Gregorio Peli kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. If Cirilo Urdin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaime Argoitz was the one to do the kick off. When Alejo Felo fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Victoria FC's protests and gave Alejo Felo a yellow card for diving instead. Alejo Felo kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. When Cirilo Urdin came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Saladillo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cirilo Urdin couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cirilo Urdin in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Sendoa saved Victoria FC from getting behind. Saladillo FC's Cirilo Urdin got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Cirilo Urdin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saladillo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cirilo Urdin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Sendoa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
