Nemesio Velasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Bernardo Chuse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 6th minute Nemesio Velasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Chuse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardo Chuse came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Chuchi's Nemesio Velasco. But to his dismay, Nemesio Velasco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Eriberto Benitez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Virgilio Abechuco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chuchi's supporters rose to their feet, but Virgilio Abechuco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Chuse breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enzo Eder during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Virgilio Abechuco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Chuse having to interfere. Bernardo Chuse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgilio Abechuco, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 27th minute Nemesio Velasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Chuse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Chuchi's goalkeeper Lisandro Urbes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paolo Mingo. In the 36th minute, Victorio Tulio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 37 minutes, Virgilio Abechuco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chuchi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Virgilio Abechuco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nemesio Velasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Chuse having to interfere. In the 40th match minute, Club Atlético River Plate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeo Gotzon to maneuver through the defense. Nemesio Velasco struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Bernardo Chuse didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chuchi. Club Atlético River Plate's Bernardo Chuse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgilio Abechuco in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nemesio Velasco was the one to do the kick off. Nemesio Velasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Club Atlético River Plate fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 73rd minute. Penalty! Virgilio Abechuco took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernardo Chuse. Bernardo Chuse dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 81 minutes into the game, Paolo Mingo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atlético River Plate's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chuchi the free kick. The audience was convinced that Nemesio Velasco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernardo Chuse was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. In the 88th minute, Nemesio Velasco fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Bernardo Chuse, passed just outside the right post. In the 95th minute Eriberto Benitez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lisandro Urbes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardo Chuse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nemesio Velasco in the 99th minute of the match. The Club Atlético River Plate fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Chuchi were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
