Gregorio Peli started the match with the kick off. Horacio Oro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregorio Peli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Igor Rameriz kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. With a little luck, Ancón's Horacio Oro got control of the ball when Felix Terciero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Horacio Oro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gregorio Peli's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Fernando Sendoa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Delmiro Estevon's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Arnoldo Abancens notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Victoria FC's Fernando Sendoa. Fernando Sendoa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Victoria FC's zone, Arnoldo Abancens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Sendoa came out of the goal and Arnoldo Abancens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Horacio Oro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felix Terciero went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Victoria FC's Gregorio Peli got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Felix Terciero charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felix Terciero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Felix Terciero kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Ancón's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Felix Terciero fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Delmiro Estevon to strike the kick off in the second half. Fernando Sendoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmiro Estevon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the game, Felix Terciero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Horacio Oro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Victoria FC's Fernando Sendoa got control of the ball when Arnoldo Abancens tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gregorio Peli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Horacio Oro came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Victoria FC's Gregorio Peli. But to his dismay, Gregorio Peli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. 83 minutes into the match, Ancón's Delmiro Estevon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fernando Sendoa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Horacio Oro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gregorio Peli went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. Felix Terciero might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Horacio Oro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felix Terciero ran back to his position shaking his head. Ancón's Horacio Oro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorio Peli in the 92nd minute of play. Igor Rameriz charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Igor Rameriz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ancón getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Igor Rameriz hit a great ball. If Felix Terciero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Victoria FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ancón had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
