Spectators: 7257 (Terracing: 5444, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ancón's goalkeeper Horacio Oro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Delmiro Estevon in the 8th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Nestor Theodore kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. After 12 minutes, Jaime Argoitz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saladillo FC and the Ancón players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Saladillo FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Jaime Argoitz hit a great ball. Ancón's Arnoldo Abancens got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Ancón defense, Cirilo Urdin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Horacio Oro. The Ancón fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Horacio Oro should have stopped the shot. Saladillo FC's Nestor Theodore proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Saladillo FC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Arnoldo Abancens managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ancón's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnoldo Abancens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nestor Theodore breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Honorio Cayo fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ancón's protests and gave Honorio Cayo a yellow card for diving instead. After 24 played minutes Ancón got a freekick which was hit by Honorio Cayo. If Cirilo Urdin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnoldo Abancens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

52 minutes into the match, Cirilo Urdin notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Ancón's Horacio Oro. Horacio Oro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cirilo Urdin got free with Horacio Oro in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Jaime Argoitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saladillo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaime Argoitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horacio Oro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carolo Ixona during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 79th match minute, Saladillo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carolo Ixona to maneuver through the defense. Froilan Romo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nestor Theodore. Saladillo FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Nestor Theodore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmiro Estevon in the 88th minute of play. Nestor Theodore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmiro Estevon, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Horacio Oro made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Cirilo Urdin sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle went the supporters of Saladillo FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Ancón side.
