Leonides Ellande might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Domingo Hibai. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leonides Ellande ran back to his position shaking his head. Domingo Hibai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonides Ellande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Platon Alanis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedicto Raebert, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Leonides Ellande struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Domingo Hibai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EL ESFUERZO FC. 32 minutes into the game, Sergio Oxel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Acostilla FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EL ESFUERZO FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Acostilla FC's Sergio Oxel got a free kick in the 32nd minute. When Ionuț Bulcă fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored EL ESFUERZO FC's protests and gave Ionuț Bulcă a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Acostilla FC booed when EL ESFUERZO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ionuț Bulcă didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roberto Bras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raul Jerano struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Domingo Hibai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EL ESFUERZO FC. In the 43rd minute, Roberto Bras ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Domingo Hibai was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After the first half EL ESFUERZO FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leonides Ellande to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeo Bixintxo in the 52nd minute of play forced EL ESFUERZO FC's goalkeeper Platon Alanis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Acostilla FC's goalkeeper Domingo Hibai had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonides Ellande. Platon Alanis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Oxel in the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Sergio Oxel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Acostilla FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Platon Alanis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeo Bixintxo in the 61st minute of play. Fulgencio Arano's late challenge caught a Acostilla FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fulgencio Arano helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Acostilla FC booed when EL ESFUERZO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulgencio Arano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute, Valentin Torres sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and EL ESFUERZO FC's Platon Alanis didn't even have to move. After a defensive mix-up in Acostilla FC's zone, Roberto Bras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingo Hibai came out of the goal and Roberto Bras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 69th minute, Roberto Bras got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 71 minutes into the game, Roberto Bras cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Domingo Hibai was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 75 minutes into the match, EL ESFUERZO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Raebert came free, but Platon Alanis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute Benedicto Raebert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Platon Alanis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonides Ellande blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Domingo Hibai having to make a save. If Roberto Bras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Marques in the 96th minute of play forced EL ESFUERZO FC's goalkeeper Platon Alanis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, EL ESFUERZO FC's Paulino Berbiz got a free kick in the 97th minute. After 98 played minutes, Acostilla FC's Valentin Torres shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Platon Alanis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Acostilla FC reached it. The Acostilla FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. EL ESFUERZO FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
