Leonides Ellande started the match with the kick off. Leonides Ellande might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Celedonio Bilbo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leonides Ellande ran back to his position shaking his head. After 11 played minutes EL ESFUERZO FC got a freekick which was hit by Leonides Ellande. 13 minutes into the match, EL ESFUERZO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fulgencio Horado came free, but Platon Alanis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonides Ellande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Celedonio Bilbo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. EL ESFUERZO FC's Platon Alanis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristo Pepillo in the 17th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teodosio Asier during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th minute, Teodosio Asier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonides Ellande recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristo Pepillo in the 25th minute of play forced EL ESFUERZO FC's goalkeeper Platon Alanis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonides Ellande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celedonio Bilbo having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Leonides Ellande made a precise shot to the right of Celedonio Bilbo. Nahueve FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Roberto Bras struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Celedonio Bilbo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EL ESFUERZO FC. 39 minutes into the game, Roberto Bras cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Celedonio Bilbo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 42nd minute, Leandro Lleir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Nahueve FC booed when EL ESFUERZO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulino Berbiz didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mateo Nesor to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Nahueve FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Bras came free, but Celedonio Bilbo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Nahueve FC's zone, Roberto Bras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celedonio Bilbo came out of the goal and Roberto Bras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roberto Bras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot by Julian Gurutz from long distance, 63 minutes into the match, got Platon Alanis's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After a defensive mix-up in Nahueve FC's zone, Leonides Ellande stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celedonio Bilbo came out of the goal and Leonides Ellande tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roberto Bras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Celedonio Bilbo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulino Berbiz charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulino Berbiz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to EL ESFUERZO FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Paulino Berbiz hit a great ball. Leandro Lleir, 75 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Leonides Ellande came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the EL ESFUERZO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonides Ellande couldn't finish the play. If Leonides Ellande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ionuț Bulcă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Celedonio Bilbo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Roberto Bras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Leonides Ellande recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd minute, Roberto Bras left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The EL ESFUERZO FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. EL ESFUERZO FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
