Benito Toro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Niceto Cordearo fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yanda's protests and gave Niceto Cordearo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 41st minute, Niceto Cordearo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Huargos FC's Albino Estebano got a free kick in the 51st minute. Santos Guillem could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Francisco Ascencio made a huge save. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francisco Ascencio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 92 minutes into the game, Vladimiro Marko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yanda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Huargos FC the free kick. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
