In the 2nd match minute, MoscardiFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Urre to maneuver through the defense. After 3 played minutes Merlo fc got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Indartsu. Cristo Ipar struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Jonathan Oalo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MoscardiFC. 13 minutes into the game, one of MoscardiFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ciro Jusepe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Omar Veronica tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Atilano Tonio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Merlo fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Atilano Tonio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Omar Veronica breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Omar Veronica came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Merlo fc's Ciro Jusepe. But to his dismay, Ciro Jusepe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After having played for 29 minutes, Ciro Jusepe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Merlo fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciro Jusepe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Merlo fc booed when MoscardiFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Jakue didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francisco Azeari in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Omar Veronica prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Atilano Tonio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Veronica having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, MoscardiFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Jusepe came free, but Omar Veronica reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Atilano Tonio to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Francisco Azeari during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Omar Veronica made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ciro Jusepe in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute, Atilano Tonio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66thth minute of the game Atilano Tonio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MoscardiFC's Omar Veronica was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Blas Heriberto in the 68th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Merlo fc's Francisco Azeari. Jonathan Oalo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fermin Lastur in the 71st minute of play. Jonathan Oalo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fermin Lastur, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Atilano Tonio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute, Diego Urre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Ciro Jusepe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Merlo fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciro Jusepe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Omar Veronica breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Atilano Tonio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Atilano Tonio came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Merlo fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Atilano Tonio couldn't finish the play.
