When Amancio Rey fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Berazategui's protests and gave Amancio Rey a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th match minute, Berazategui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amancio Rey to maneuver through the defense. Generoso Urre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gualterio Quinto in the 12th minute. Inocencio Inguma struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Raimundo Baleren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Berazategui. After 18 minutes of play, Berazategui's Inocencio Inguma made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raimundo Baleren was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Berazategui's zone, Gualterio Quinto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Generoso Urre came out of the goal and Gualterio Quinto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th minute of the match, Celso Ruisko tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Generoso Urre saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Gualterio Quinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raimundo Baleren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Obeko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Norberto Martxot fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. In the 32nd match minute, Chilcas AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norberto Martxot to maneuver through the defense. Inocencio Inguma might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raimundo Baleren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Inocencio Inguma ran back to his position shaking his head. Raimundo Baleren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocencio Inguma in the 37th minute of play. Raimundo Baleren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inocencio Inguma, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After some careless play in the Chilcas AFC defense, Inocencio Inguma kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raimundo Baleren. The Chilcas AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raimundo Baleren should have stopped the shot. After the first half Berazategui were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Celso Ruisko to make the kick off. Generoso Urre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualterio Quinto in the 53rd minute of play. Generoso Urre came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Chilcas AFC's Gualterio Quinto. But to his dismay, Gualterio Quinto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Inocencio Inguma in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raimundo Baleren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Inocencio Inguma's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raimundo Baleren was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Generoso Urre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualterio Quinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 80 minutes, Inocencio Inguma mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Berazategui and the Chilcas AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Inocencio Inguma hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Berazategui's Lino Obeko got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Lino Obeko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inocencio Inguma in the 94th minute of play forced Chilcas AFC's goalkeeper Raimundo Baleren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gualterio Quinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Berazategui eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
