Cristo Ipar ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Avellaneda FC's zone, Fermin Lastur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximino Gurutz came out of the goal and Fermin Lastur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Fermin Lastur managed to get in a good position for a shot. MoscardiFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fermin Lastur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximino Gurutz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 42nd match minute, Avellaneda FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodosio Etxahun to maneuver through the defense. Avellaneda FC's Maximino Gurutz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fermin Lastur in the 45th minute of play. Gilberto Columbo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Omar Veronica tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Avellaneda FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. MoscardiFC were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marciano Romero made a kick off. The referee ignored Avellaneda FC's protests and gave Patricio Natanael a yellow card for diving instead. Patricio Natanael hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Avellaneda FC's Maximino Gurutz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Avellaneda FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Avellaneda FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Teodosio Etxahun hit a great ball. After 68 minutes Avellaneda FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Venancio Cugat who took care of the corner kick. Maximino Gurutz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristo Ipar, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After a rather tough play, MoscardiFC's Venancio Cugat got a free kick in the 74th minute. Omar Veronica stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilberto Columbo's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Gilberto Columbo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Veronica having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nunez Montel during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fermin Lastur couldn't finish the play. The MoscardiFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing MoscardiFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
