When Cristo Foro fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. If Victoriano Guerau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 44 minutes in the game, Inocencio Inguma fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Emiliano Sansone having to interfere. After 46 minutes, Luis Ciano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bañitos AFC and the Berazategui players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Bañitos AFC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Luis Ciano hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Benito Franco made the kick off in the second half. Bañitos AFC's Luis Ciano got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lino Obeko might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emiliano Sansone. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lino Obeko ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inocencio Inguma in the 82nd minute of play forced Bañitos AFC's goalkeeper Emiliano Sansone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Berazategui's Generoso Urre got control of the ball when Luis Ciano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bañitos AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Ciano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Generoso Urre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bañitos AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
