The wind increased when Benito Toro made the kick off in the second half. When Francisco Azeari fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Merlo fc's protests and gave Francisco Azeari a yellow card for diving instead. In the 59th minute, Atilano Tonio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ciro Jusepe who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Francisco Ascencio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 69 minutes, Ciro Jusepe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Merlo fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciro Jusepe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Francisco Azeari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Ascencio having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Anselmo Pero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ciro Jusepe came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Merlo fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciro Jusepe couldn't finish the play. In the 75th minute, Merlo fc's Atilano Tonio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. In the 81st minute, Lucas Indartsu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Yanda's Francisco Ascencio got control of the ball when Ciro Jusepe tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilano Tonio in the 86th minute of play forced Yanda's goalkeeper Francisco Ascencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
