Spectators: 6659 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 0) Edding FC's Victorino Gabrio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Marciano Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximino Gurutz was a little too slow when Victorino Gabrio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 5th minute. The score was now 1-0. Marciano Romero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Elpidio Cordaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elpidio Cordaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Columbo in the 13th minute of the match. Aquilino Medardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Maximino Gurutz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aquilino Medardo got free with Maximino Gurutz in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 17th minute, Ubaldo Barea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victorino Gabrio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aquilino Medardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Gurutz having to interfere. Ubaldo Barea charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ubaldo Barea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 24th match minute, Avellaneda FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ubaldo Barea to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the match, Edding FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Columbo came free, but Elpidio Cordaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Avellaneda FC's Marciano Romero in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Edding FC's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Aquilino Medardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Edding FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aquilino Medardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximino Gurutz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maximino Gurutz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorino Gabrio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ubaldo Barea hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Victorino Gabrio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Gurutz having to interfere. Aquilino Medardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Victorino Gabrio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aquilino Medardo in the 45thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Maximino Gurutz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Marciano Romero hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gilberto Columbo made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Edding FC's zone, Gilberto Columbo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elpidio Cordaro came out of the goal and Gilberto Columbo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Victorino Gabrio's late challenge caught a Avellaneda FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victorino Gabrio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd minute, Victorino Gabrio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute of the match Santo Abeita shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elpidio Cordaro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Avellaneda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aquilino Medardo came free, but Maximino Gurutz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 75 played minutes Avellaneda FC got a freekick which was hit by Teodosio Etxahun. Gilberto Columbo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elpidio Cordaro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilberto Columbo in the 87th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquilino Medardo in the 90th minute of play forced Avellaneda FC's goalkeeper Maximino Gurutz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edding FC's Elpidio Cordaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Edding FC from getting a goal against them. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
