If Lino Obeko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute Inocencio Inguma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Ascencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Amancio Rey kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Francisco Ascencio. That made the score 1-3 in the 85 minute of play. Generoso Urre came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Yanda's Lucas Elixio. But to his dismay, Lucas Elixio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. If Lucas Elixio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Berazategui eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
