Spectators: 7171 (Terracing: 5380, Seating: 1649, VIP seats: 142) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Roque Goyo started the match with the kick off. In the 11th minute, one of HUDSON CITY BERA:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for HUDSON CITY BERA. Lorenzo Fero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteve Oalo in the 17th minute of the match. Roque Goyo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 25 minutes, Roque Goyo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. HUDSON CITY BERA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roque Goyo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque Goyo in the 27th minute of play forced Firestarter FC's goalkeeper Lorenzo Fero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 28 played minutes Firestarter FC got a freekick which was hit by Aquilino Tomi. In the 36th minute, Emanuel Gartzi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lorenzo Fero was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Leopoldo Diaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Ismael Mincho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 42 minutes, Emanuel Gartzi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the HUDSON CITY BERA and the Firestarter FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Emanuel Gartzi hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque Goyo in the 53rd minute of play forced Firestarter FC's goalkeeper Lorenzo Fero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bartolo Tomi might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ismael Mincho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bartolo Tomi ran back to his position shaking his head. Leopoldo Diaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Mincho having to interfere. After a rather tough play, HUDSON CITY BERA's Roque Goyo got a free kick in the 66th minute. Ismael Mincho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartolo Tomi, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind HUDSON CITY BERA's goalkeeper Ismael Mincho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 74 minutes into the match, HUDSON CITY BERA's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolo Tomi came free, but Ismael Mincho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. HUDSON CITY BERA's Ismael Mincho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolo Tomi in the 75th minute of play. Ismael Mincho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolo Tomi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roque Goyo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorenzo Fero having to interfere. Lorenzo Fero was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Emanuel Gartzi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Emanuel Gartzi really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
