Leopoldo Olivar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 29 played minutes Morrison FC got a freekick which was hit by Fermin Montrel. Ezequiel Abaurre scored 0-2 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leopoldo Olivar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Ezequiel Abaurre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tamangueyú's supporters rose to their feet, but Ezequiel Abaurre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leopoldo Olivar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Marcos Lauaxeta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leopoldo Olivar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ezequiel Abaurre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Marcos Lauaxeta made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Morrison FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Arsenio Frans hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ulises Gipuzkoa in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leopoldo Olivar saved Morrison FC from getting behind. Romeo Xabel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leopoldo Olivar. Morrison FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Leopoldo Olivar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulises Gipuzkoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romeo Xabel hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Teofilo Cuartio hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Norberto Marin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Morrison FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Norberto Marin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Gonza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Teofilo Cuartio fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tamangueyú's protests and gave Teofilo Cuartio a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Morrison FC booed when Tamangueyú was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Cuartio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leopoldo Olivar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulises Gipuzkoa in the 89th minute of play. Ulises Gipuzkoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Tamangueyú's Tomas Urbasa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leopoldo Olivar. That made the score 0-3 after 97 minutes of play. When the match was over Tamangueyú could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Morrison FC throughout the match.
