But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teofilo Ferdinand couldn't finish the play. If Rodolfo Mark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Mark in the 26th minute of play forced Tolhuin's goalkeeper Humberto Procopio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Rodolfo Mark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodolfo Mark blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Humberto Procopio having to make a save. Humberto Procopio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofilo Ferdinand, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Humberto Procopio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Mark in the 40th minute of the match. Humberto Procopio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodolfo Mark went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Dúrham FC's Rodolfo Mark got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teofilo Ferdinand to strike the kick off in the second half. Dionisio Gau charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dionisio Gau the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Dúrham FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Dionisio Gau hit a great ball. In the 59th minute, Blas Romano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Teofilo Ferdinand came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Dúrham FC fans jumped to their feet. After a defensive mix-up in Dúrham FC's zone, Faustino Castulo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delmar Gabino came out of the goal and Faustino Castulo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Tolhuin's Humberto Procopio got control of the ball when Rodolfo Mark tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 88th minute of the match, Teofilo Ferdinand tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Humberto Procopio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 92 played minutes Tolhuin got a freekick which was hit by Ignacio Criston. 94 minutes into the match, Tolhuin's goalkeeper Humberto Procopio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodolfo Mark. The supporters of Tolhuin booed when Dúrham FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celso Oskitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dúrham FC played a much better game than Tolhuin and deserved their victory. The Tolhuin players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
