The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Clemente Urtun fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mastropiero FC's protests and gave Clemente Urtun a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Mastropiero FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Clemente Urtun hit a great ball. Isidro Paublo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquiles Gabirel in the 10th minute of play. Vladimiro Hodei kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Amado Joey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Guillem having to interfere. Vladimiro Hodei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute Clemente Urtun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidro Paublo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Emiliano Oliverio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Isidro Paublo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. KIKE FC were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Mastropiero FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Segundo Shantala took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Victor Ubendu heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Isidro Paublo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Oliverio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anier Guillem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Joey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 30 minutes, Vladimiro Hodei managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KIKE FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vladimiro Hodei was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Mastropiero FC's Anier Guillem got control of the ball when Vladimiro Hodei tried to sneak it across the goal line. 36 minutes into the game, Amado Joey lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Anier Guillem. Vladimiro Hodei hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Isidro Paublo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Oliverio in the 43rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Amado Joey's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anier Guillem was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victorino Anaya during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Anier Guillem made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amado Joey in the 46th minute. KIKE FC's Vladimiro Hodei got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

If Luisito Urtun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mastropiero FC's Clemente Urtun got his second yellow card of the match in the 53rd minute. The referee ordered Clemente Urtun off the ground. After a rather tough play, Mastropiero FC's Clemente Urtun got a free kick in the 54th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Mastropiero FC's zone, Faustino Ilazki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anier Guillem came out of the goal and Faustino Ilazki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rdth minute of the game Amado Joey who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mastropiero FC's Anier Guillem was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mastropiero FC's Anier Guillem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amado Joey in the 71st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Amado Joey managed to get in a good position for a shot. KIKE FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Amado Joey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anier Guillem breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 80 minutes, Amado Joey made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Mastropiero FC's Anier Guillem tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Segundo Shantala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Anier Guillem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amado Joey in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anier Guillem saved Mastropiero FC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Faustino Ilazki managed to get in a good position for a shot. KIKE FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Faustino Ilazki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anier Guillem breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee ended the match the KIKE FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
