Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 140) Arnulfo Harkaitz made the kick off and thus started the match. Humberto Procopio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Harkaitz in the 6th minute of play. Uriel Bela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 11th minute Arnulfo Harkaitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Procopio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tolhuin's Humberto Procopio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uriel Bela in the 12th minute of play. Faustino Castulo struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Eriberto Bastia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tolhuin. Uriel Bela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Humberto Procopio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Uriel Bela came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Salto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Uriel Bela couldn't finish the play. In the 40th minute, Rodrigo Caton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Faustino Castulo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tolhuin's supporters rose to their feet, but Faustino Castulo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eriberto Bastia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Eusebio Venceslas took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Eriberto Bastia to make any attempt to save it. Uriel Bela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Procopio having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eusebio Venceslas to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Uriel Bela got free with Humberto Procopio in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Faustino Castulo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Bastia having to interfere. Salto 's Uriel Bela came free and shot a quick shot against goal 64 minutes in the game, fortunately Humberto Procopio had problems saving as it came toward the left post. If Arnulfo Harkaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 75 minutes Salto 's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bernardino Demario who took care of the corner kick. Blas Romano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Faustino Castulo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodrigo Caton charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodrigo Caton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rodrigo Caton hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Salto 's Victoriano Oskarbi got a free kick in the 90th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Tolhuin's Bernardino Demario broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Uriel Bela struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Humberto Procopio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salto . Tolhuin were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Salto for a fine match.
