The audience thought a goal was coming when Clodoveo Lazcano got free with Jacobo Calisto in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jacobo Calisto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Tipi in the 22nd minute of play. The supporters of Tacaaglé booed when Cadillal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santo Txordon didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Freddy Tipi notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Cadillal's Jacobo Calisto. Jacobo Calisto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Clemente Duardo kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Tacaaglé's supporters rose to their feet, but Freddy Tipi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Calisto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jacobo Calisto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Tipi in the 56th minute of play. A hard shot by Silverio Isauro from long distance, 61 minutes into the match, got Danilo Hondo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Danilo Hondo made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Esteve Barto sent off a good shot on target. Clodoveo Lazcano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Jacobo Calisto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cadillal's Delmiro Egoi got a free kick in the 90th minute. Tacaaglé's Marcial Claude got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Tipi in the 95th minute of play forced Cadillal's goalkeeper Jacobo Calisto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cadillal's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
