The referee ignored Colipilli's protests and gave Hugo Galsino a yellow card for diving instead. After 9 played minutes Colipilli got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Galsino. Zeledon Lico didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gervasio Peruanton went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Gervasio Peruanton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Lico having to interfere. Zeledon Lico made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gervasio Peruanton in the 19th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Bonnement's goal looked a bit too open when Benigno Cesaro came free, but Zeledon Lico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Osvaldo Rocendo kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Candido Froylan kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Candido Froylan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zeledon Lico having to make a save. Ovidio Osoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Bonnement's zone, Benigno Cesaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeledon Lico came out of the goal and Benigno Cesaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

In the 52nd minute, Gervasio Peruanton left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Colipilli fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Bonnement's zone, Gervasio Peruanton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeledon Lico came out of the goal and Gervasio Peruanton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 59 played minutes Bonnement got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Gartxot. Simon Hitzeder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Daniel Iraunkor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernesto Gartxot kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Osvaldo Rocendo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 64th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Bonnement's zone, Candido Froylan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeledon Lico came out of the goal and Candido Froylan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zeledon Lico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gervasio Peruanton in the 69th minute of play. A collision led to Bonnement getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Ernesto Gartxot hit a great ball. Zeledon Lico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benigno Cesaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute Gervasio Peruanton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Lico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gervasio Peruanton in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zeledon Lico prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 94 minutes into the match, Bonnement's goal looked a bit too open when Gervasio Peruanton came free, but Zeledon Lico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
