After a rather tough play, Peto Chico's Basilio Lopez got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute of the match Justo Errapel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Celestino Beltran showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Atilano Belo got free with Zeledon Lico in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Melquiades Mikeldi during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Peto Chico's Melquiades Mikeldi got a free kick in the 18th minute. Zeledon Lico made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Atilano Belo sent off a good shot on target. Atilano Belo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zeledon Lico read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Bonnement's goalkeeper Zeledon Lico had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Atilano Belo. Basilio Lopez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Lico having to interfere. The supporters of Bonnement booed when Peto Chico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Pepillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 35 minutes, Atilano Belo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peto Chico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Atilano Belo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Peto Chico's Basilio Lopez got his second yellow card of the match in the 37th minute. The referee ordered Basilio Lopez off the ground. In the 38th match minute, Peto Chico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basilio Lopez to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ovidio Osoro to make the kick off. Simon Hitzeder charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Simon Hitzeder the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Simon Hitzeder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Bonnement getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Ovidio Osoro hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ovidio Osoro got free with Celestino Beltran in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Peto Chico's Atilano Belo got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 75th minute, Atilano Belo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Federico Frasquito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Zeledon Lico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zeledon Lico didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Atilano Belo went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Atilano Belo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Zeledon Lico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ovidio Osoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celestino Beltran was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ovidio Osoro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 92 minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
