Simon Hitzeder showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 11th minute, Maximiliano Argoitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ovidio Osoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristo Tello blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zeledon Lico having to make a save. After some careless play in the Bonnement defense, Maximiliano Argoitz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zeledon Lico. The Bonnement fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zeledon Lico should have stopped the shot. 24 minutes into the match, Bonnement's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Argoitz came free, but Zeledon Lico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximiliano Argoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Zeledon Lico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Maximiliano Argoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Simon Hitzeder came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Bonnement fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simon Hitzeder couldn't finish the play. Ovidio Osoro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Porfirio having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Simon Hitzeder made the kick off in the second half. Cristo Tello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Maximiliano Argoitz came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Catella Fubol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximiliano Argoitz couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ovidio Osoro in the 63rd minute of play forced Catella Fubol Club's goalkeeper Cayetano Porfirio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zeledon Lico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Argoitz in the 83rd minute of play. Zeledon Lico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Argoitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Catella Fubol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bonnement the free kick. After 92 played minutes Catella Fubol Club got a freekick which was hit by Godofredo Regis. Cayetano Porfirio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Hitzeder, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
