Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ramírez FC's Eulalio Montez started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ernesto Gartxot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Steven having to interfere. Arnoldo Steven showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovidio Osoro, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Simon Hitzeder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Steven having to interfere. Ovidio Osoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Ramírez FC's Roberto Goi got a free kick in the 11th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Bonnement's zone, Eulalio Montez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeledon Lico came out of the goal and Eulalio Montez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arnoldo Steven didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ovidio Osoro went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Lázaro Lucado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the match, Ramírez FC's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Hitzeder came free, but Arnoldo Steven reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bonnement's Simon Hitzeder got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Simon Hitzeder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Bonnement's Zeledon Lico got control of the ball when Eulalio Montez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eulalio Montez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Zeledon Lico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Simon Hitzeder in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnoldo Steven saved Ramírez FC from getting behind. Simon Hitzeder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 48 minutes, Lázaro Lucado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ramírez FC and the Bonnement players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lázaro Lucado hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 49th minute, Ovidio Osoro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bonnement's supporters rose to their feet, but Ovidio Osoro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnoldo Steven breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Zeledon Lico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lázaro Lucado, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Ovidio Osoro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Arnoldo Steven tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnoldo Steven made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ovidio Osoro in the 69th minute. Arnoldo Steven was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Simon Hitzeder showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 72 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Hitzeder in the 76th minute of play forced Ramírez FC's goalkeeper Arnoldo Steven to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 79 minutes, Simon Hitzeder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bonnement's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simon Hitzeder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 82nd minute by Ovidio Osoro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After having played for 84 minutes, Simon Hitzeder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zeledon Lico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eulalio Montez in the 92nd minute of play. Ramírez FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Florencio Sayveon in the 94th minute. A nice corner shot did that Florencio Sayveon got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zeledon Lico quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Eulalio Montez came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Ramírez FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eulalio Montez couldn't finish the play. Lázaro Lucado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Bonnement eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
