Cristo Tello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celestino Beltran having to interfere. Atilano Belo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Cayetano Porfirio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Catella Fubol Club getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Godofredo Regis hit a great ball. Atilano Belo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Peto Chico's Cayetano Porfirio threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Valentin Atarrabi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Catella Fubol Club's goalkeeper Cayetano Porfirio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maximiliano Argoitz was the one to do the kick off. Celestino Beltran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Argoitz in the 56th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Peto Chico's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Argoitz came free, but Celestino Beltran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience held their breath when Florencio Dalmau in the 71st minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Celestino Beltran's left hand side. With a little luck, Peto Chico's Celestino Beltran got control of the ball when Cristo Tello tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 77th minute, Atilano Belo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celestino Beltran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Argoitz in the 79th minute of play. After having played for 82 minutes, Cristo Tello managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Catella Fubol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristo Tello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Cristo Tello came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Catella Fubol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristo Tello couldn't finish the play.
