Grositos FC's Fabio Bitxintxo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genaro Loi in the 37th minute of play. If Sebastian Pere had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Julian Izotz came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Atletico Regina FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Izotz couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Grositos FC's Anastasio Oro got a free kick in the 46th minute. Sebastian Pere charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastian Pere the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 48th minute, Sebastian Pere hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

52 minutes into the match, Grositos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Genaro Loi came free, but Fabio Bitxintxo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 55 minutes, Sebastian Pere managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grositos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Pere was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 57th minute, Sebastian Pere ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baldomero Naelio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Sebastian Pere fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Naelio having to interfere. In the 67th minute Genaro Loi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Bitxintxo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Izotz couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Pere got free with Baldomero Naelio in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benito Behe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
