Spectators: 7192 (Terracing: 5442, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 100) Maximo Fagondo made the kick off and thus started the match. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by C.A Freetanga's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tobias Guifre was slow to take the kick. During this time Candelaria FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Candelaria FC's Tobias Guifre to fire away a dangerous shot which Serafin Inge despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Sagrario in the 8th minute of play forced Candelaria FC's goalkeeper Marco Macerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luciano Patxi in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Macerio saved Candelaria FC from getting behind. Isidoro Olivar kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Modesto Clemencin hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Sagrario in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Macerio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marco Macerio came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by C.A Freetanga's Pedro Sagrario. But to his dismay, Pedro Sagrario quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 31st minute, Luciano Patxi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Serafin Inge was a little too slow when Maximo Fagondo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Luciano Patxi made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Fagondo in the 57th minute of play forced C.A Freetanga's goalkeeper Serafin Inge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Modesto Clemencin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. C.A Freetanga's Luciano Patxi got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, Candelaria FC's Maximo Fagondo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Serafin Inge narrowly saved just below the crossbar. C.A Freetanga's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
