The Atletico Regina FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baldomero Naelio should have stopped the shot. 21 minutes into the match, Domingo Pudes notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Atletico Regina FC's Baldomero Naelio. With a left leg Baldomero Naelio saved Atletico Regina FC from getting behind. In the 43rd minute, Enrique Liher fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Baldomero Naelio, passed just outside the right post. Enrique Liher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julian Izotz to strike the kick off in the second half. Leonardo Mincho hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. If Prudencio Euloxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the match, Atletico Regina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Liher came free, but Baldomero Naelio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baldomero Naelio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Domingo Pudes's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Godofredo Alonso's late challenge caught a Fortuna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Godofredo Alonso helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Atletico Regina FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Godofredo Alonso hit a great ball. Julian Izotz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Fortuna booed when Atletico Regina FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Izotz didn't get a good kick on the ball.
