Spectators: 6934 (Terracing: 5434, Seating: 1450, VIP seats: 50) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sergio Larra kicked off to start the match. Baldomero Naelio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Ciceron in the 9th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Jorge Ciceron left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Abbott AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, Atletico Regina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Ciceron came free, but Baldomero Naelio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Godofredo Alonso hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute of the match Camilo Urdin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baldomero Naelio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sergio Larra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baldomero Naelio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Horacio Servando kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Camilo Urdin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Baldomero Naelio. Atletico Regina FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Baldomero Naelio came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Abbott AFC's Sergio Larra. But to his dismay, Sergio Larra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, Atletico Regina FC's Esteve Santxol got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Sergio Larra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Naelio having to interfere. The supporters of Abbott AFC booed when Atletico Regina FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvano Guib didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julian Izotz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Oscar Pepillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sergio Larra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Genaro Loi was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Atletico Regina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Larra came free, but Baldomero Naelio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sergio Larra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Atletico Regina FC's Julian Izotz got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 62ndth minute of the game Sergio Larra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atletico Regina FC's Baldomero Naelio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Oscar Pepillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Genaro Loi in the 63rd minute of the match. Atletico Regina FC's Baldomero Naelio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Atletico Regina FC from getting a goal against them. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Abbott AFC's Sergio Larra in the 68th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Baldomero Naelio was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Atletico Regina FC through an amazing save. Abbott AFC's Oscar Pepillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genaro Loi in the 70th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Abbott AFC's Jorge Ciceron sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baldomero Naelio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Abbott AFC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Saverio Tolino hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the game, Jorge Ciceron recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Baldomero Naelio. Jorge Ciceron showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Sergio Larra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Naelio having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorge Ciceron got free with Baldomero Naelio in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Jorge Ciceron came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Abbott AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Ciceron couldn't finish the play. In the 95th minute, Godofredo Alonso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sergio Larra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Naelio having to interfere. The Abbott AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Abbott AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
