Amancio Quintin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Santo having to interfere. If Amancio Quintin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cayetano Santo made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Sebastian Pere sent off a good shot on target. In the 38th minute, Grositos FC's Amancio Quintin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cayetano Santo. Cayetano Santo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 44 minutes into the match, Miramonte's goal looked a bit too open when Amancio Quintin came free, but Cayetano Santo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Miramonte's Jeronimo Hever got a free kick in the 45th minute. Amancio Quintin struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Cayetano Santo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grositos FC. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amancio Quintin to make the kick off. Cayetano Santo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amancio Quintin in the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st match minute, Miramonte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ariel Eguntsenti to maneuver through the defense. Mauro Segio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
