After a defensive mix-up in DIABLOSEDU MERCEDES BSAS's zone, Casimiro Gutierrez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramon Rafe came out of the goal and Casimiro Gutierrez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Flavio Raymon during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th match minute, DIABLOSEDU MERCEDES BSAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Raymon to maneuver through the defense. Silvestre Aureo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Casimiro Gutierrez to make the kick off. Ramon Rafe made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Isidro Efraim sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of DIABLOSEDU MERCEDES BSAS booed when Pismanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casimiro Gutierrez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute of the match, Isidro Efraim got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ramon Rafe was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Pismanta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidro Efraim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Pismanta's Casimiro Gutierrez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ramon Rafe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Casimiro Gutierrez in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramon Rafe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pismanta's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
