The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Pismanta booed when Emma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natalio Urtsua didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute of the match Fulgencio Lluciano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maximiliano Buinton showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 34th minute, Casimiro Gutierrez fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Maximiliano Buinton, passed just outside the right post. Maximiliano Buinton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Efraim in the 35th minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Edgard Quinto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Emma's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pismanta the free kick. In the 36th match minute, Emma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Quinto to maneuver through the defense. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgard Quinto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Emma got a freekick which was hit by Cirilo Galeno. Isidro Efraim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maximiliano Buinton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Efraim in the 57th minute of play. Casimiro Gutierrez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Buinton having to interfere. Isidro Efraim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isidro Efraim in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maximiliano Buinton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Casimiro Gutierrez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Maximiliano Buinton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Isidro Efraim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 97th minute, Casimiro Gutierrez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximiliano Buinton was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Pismanta were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Emma for a fine match.
