A beautiful save bye Trapiche's goalie prevented a goal. 6 minutes into the game, Trapiche's Diego Pabla nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Geronimo Qwinton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saturnino Eleder during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 11th match minute, Trapiche was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saturnino Eleder to maneuver through the defense. Angelino Fero hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Alonzo Rolado, 16 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Florencio Karmel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diego Pabla scored 0-2 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Geronimo Qwinton, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 30 minutes into the match, Diego Pabla notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Pampita's Geronimo Qwinton. Geronimo Qwinton was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Celestino Blai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albino Alonso in the 40th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Trapiche's zone, Florencio Karmel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celestino Blai came out of the goal and Florencio Karmel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Pampita defense, Diego Pabla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geronimo Qwinton. The Pampita fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geronimo Qwinton should have stopped the shot. After the first half Trapiche were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Celestino Blai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florencio Karmel, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Albino Alonso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celestino Blai having to interfere. Florencio Karmel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celestino Blai stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florencio Karmel's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Florencio Karmel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pampita's Anier Ofelio got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Celestino Blai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florencio Karmel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geronimo Qwinton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Pabla, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 70th minute Diego Pabla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Qwinton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Trapiche's Diego Pabla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Geronimo Qwinton narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 74 minutes into the match, Florencio Karmel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celestino Blai. Trapiche's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florencio Karmel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. After a defensive mix-up in Pampita's zone, Diego Pabla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geronimo Qwinton came out of the goal and Diego Pabla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anier Ofelio hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Trapiche were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Pampita's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alonzo Rolado took the corner. Trapiche's Alonzo Rolado was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Geronimo Qwinton in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 89th minute Albino Alonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celestino Blai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ariel Filipo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Celestino Blai. Trapiche's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Fernando Formerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Geronimo Qwinton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Pampita supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Trapiche's performance. The match ended with a win for Trapiche.
