If Albino Alonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 42 minutes of play, Pampita's Florencio Karmel made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maximiliano Buinton was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edgard Quinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Pampita were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Natalio Urtsua to make the kick off. Geronimo Qwinton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natalio Urtsua, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Mariano Geofredo kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 64th minute Albino Alonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximiliano Buinton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florencio Karmel got free with Maximiliano Buinton in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 76 minutes into the match, Emma's goalkeeper Maximiliano Buinton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florencio Karmel. If Albino Alonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Edgard Quinto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Emma's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgard Quinto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geronimo Qwinton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Pampita's zone, Edgard Quinto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geronimo Qwinton came out of the goal and Edgard Quinto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albino Alonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florencio Karmel was extremely unlucky when he, in the 97th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Pampita had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
