Urbano Haimar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paolo Gomez having to interfere. In the 11th minute of the match Hermengildo Hitz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paolo Gomez skillfully saved the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Urbano Haimar during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 14th minute, Urbano Haimar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Libertad FC's zone, Edgardo Torres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Feo came out of the goal and Edgardo Torres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of LOS CASI booed when Libertad FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urbano Haimar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Inocencio Hunfredo charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Inocencio Hunfredo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 24 played minutes LOS CASI got a freekick which was hit by Inocencio Hunfredo. Paolo Gomez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elias Dino's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Hermengildo Hitz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Paolo Gomez. LOS CASI's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Elias Dino struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Paolo Gomez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Libertad FC. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carmelo Buinton to strike the kick off in the second half. The long shot by Hermengildo Hitz in the 53rd minute really tested Paolo Gomez's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Virgilio Chale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paolo Gomez having to interfere. In the 56th match minute, LOS CASI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Abechuco to maneuver through the defense. Hilario Polo charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. With a little luck, LOS CASI's Paolo Gomez got control of the ball when Elias Dino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paolo Gomez was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Hermengildo Hitz. In the 67th minute, Carmelo Buinton made a precise shot to the right of Armando Feo. Libertad FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 69th minute, Urbano Haimar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Timoteo Urritz in the 73rd minute really tested Paolo Gomez's skills. Libertad FC's Carmelo Baladi couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 78th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for LOS CASI. When Elias Dino came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Libertad FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elias Dino couldn't finish the play. Urbano Haimar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Paolo Gomez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgardo Torres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Armando Feo having to make a save. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Libertad FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
