After having played for 3 minutes, Freddy Giraldo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Don leone's supporters crossed their fingers, but Freddy Giraldo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 4 minutes into the match, Octavio Boniel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elvio Escobar. Polaris Fußballᶠᶜ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Octavio Boniel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Florencio Orlin came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Polaris Fußballᶠᶜ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florencio Orlin couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Benvido in the 14th minute of play forced Don leone's goalkeeper Ricardo Emmanuel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 17 minutes, Octavio Boniel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Don leone's supporters crossed their fingers, but Octavio Boniel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Desiderio Distiratsu during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Polaris Fußballᶠᶜ getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Desiderio Distiratsu hit a great ball. Alejandro Lixandro was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 20th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Elvio Escobar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavio Boniel, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the match, Don leone's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Benvido came free, but Ricardo Emmanuel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Freddy Giraldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elvio Escobar having to interfere. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Don leone's goalkeeper Ricardo Emmanuel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Elvio Escobar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavio Boniel in the 36th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Inocencio Enekoitz during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 36 played minutes Polaris Fußballᶠᶜ got a freekick which was hit by Inocencio Enekoitz. If Danilo Benvido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Octavio Boniel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Elvio Escobar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Don leone were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Octavio Boniel made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Boniel in the 52nd minute of play forced Polaris Fußballᶠᶜ's goalkeeper Elvio Escobar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Freddy Giraldo struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Elvio Escobar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Don leone. 64 minutes into the match, Don leone's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Benvido came free, but Ricardo Emmanuel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicasio Hartz hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Elvio Escobar was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Octavio Boniel capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Octavio Boniel really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Don leone's zone, Florencio Orlin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Emmanuel came out of the goal and Florencio Orlin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Danilo Benvido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elvio Escobar came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Don leone's Luis Celio. But to his dismay, Luis Celio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Luis Celio kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Benvido in the 90th minute of play forced Don leone's goalkeeper Ricardo Emmanuel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Danilo Benvido fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Emmanuel having to interfere. Danilo Benvido recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Don leone walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
