Paolo Gomez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Beltxe in the 15th minute of the match. PIO IX de Almagro's Marcelino Savion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Torres in the 19th minute of play. PIO IX de Almagro were furious when Gerardo Cordera was red carded, 21 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Marcelino Savion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Abechuco in the 27th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, LOS CASI's Julio Araoz got a free kick in the 28th minute. Valentin Rik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Diego Herreras short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Paolo Gomez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Diego Herrera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Paolo Gomez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valentin Rik blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paolo Gomez having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in LOS CASI's zone, Romeo Botello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paolo Gomez came out of the goal and Romeo Botello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Diego Herrera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Paolo Gomez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Herrera in the 46th minute of play forced LOS CASI's goalkeeper Paolo Gomez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 47 played minutes PIO IX de Almagro got a freekick which was hit by Julio Oroitz. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carmelo Buinton was the one to do the kick off. Paolo Gomez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeo Botello, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. PIO IX de Almagro's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Carmelo Buinton 57 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Diego Herrera managed to get in a good position for a shot. PIO IX de Almagro's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Herrera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paolo Gomez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 64 minutes into the match, Diego Herrera notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of LOS CASI's Paolo Gomez. Paolo Gomez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. LOS CASI's Paolo Gomez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Herrera in the 68th minute of play. Diego Herrera struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Paolo Gomez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PIO IX de Almagro. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in PIO IX de Almagro reached it. When Diego Herrera came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the PIO IX de Almagro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Herrera couldn't finish the play. Chants of LOS CASI echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as PIO IX de Almagro had held the ball for most of the match.
