Christian Gil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elias Dino in the 35th minute. A collision led to Atletico Tandil getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Nicolas Ilixo hit a great ball. Christian Gil was a little too slow when Elias Dino got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elias Dino to make the kick off. Elias Dino scored 4-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christian Gil, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Atletico Tandil's Christian Gil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingo Lando in the 59th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Libertad FC's Hermengildo Hitz got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 69th minute, Virgilio Chale made a precise shot to the right of Christian Gil. Atletico Tandil's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. The referee gave Libertad FC a penalty, 76 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Carmelo Baladi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Atletico Tandil's Christian Gil. 6-1. Armando Feo was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Americo Orlandus capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Americo Orlandus really showed his touch with that goal: 6-2. In the 88th minute of the match Hermengildo Hitz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christian Gil showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Freddy Honesto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Armando Feo made a huge save. In the 92nd minute of the match Hermengildo Hitz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christian Gil skillfully saved the ball. After 96 played minutes, Atletico Tandil's Paulino Lixandro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Armando Feo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Atletico Tandil reached it. When the match had gone on for 99 minutes, Elias Dino put it in 7-2 from a short distance just to the right of Christian Gil.
