Spectators: 7244 (Terracing: 5529, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 20) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Danilo Socorro started the match with the kick off. Elvio Laurendi charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elvio Laurendi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Tanque FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Elvio Laurendi hit a great ball. 6 minutes into the game, Tanque FC's Isidoro Rafe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gabriel Frasquito made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Skavidos FC's Gabriel Frasquito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafino Erroman in the 10th minute of play. Gabriel Frasquito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elvio Laurendi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Flavio Mouricio in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ciriaco Perutxo saved Tanque FC from getting behind. Ciriaco Perutxo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ariel Paskal, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Ciriaco Perutxo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Mouricio in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Tanque FC's goalkeeper Ciriaco Perutxo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benedicto Gaueko. 24 minutes into the game, Ross Allwright cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ciriaco Perutxo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 28thth minute of the game Flavio Mouricio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tanque FC's Ciriaco Perutxo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Tanque FC's Ciriaco Perutxo got control of the ball when Ross Allwright tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 35th minute, Elvio Laurendi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute, Skavidos FC's Flavio Mouricio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ciriaco Perutxo. Ciriaco Perutxo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Flavio Mouricio in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciriaco Perutxo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 57th minute Flavio Mouricio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Perutxo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th match minute, Tanque FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Oinaz to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Ross Allwright managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skavidos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ross Allwright was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciriaco Perutxo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Tanque FC's zone, Flavio Mouricio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciriaco Perutxo came out of the goal and Flavio Mouricio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benedicto Gaueko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Ciriaco Perutxo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciriaco Perutxo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Flavio Mouricio's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Ross Allwright recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Tanque FC defense, Ross Allwright kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ciriaco Perutxo. The Tanque FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ciriaco Perutxo should have stopped the shot.
